WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT MFM

We look forward to welcoming you back to our program. We want all our guests to feel comfortable at our shows. As such, you can expect these protocols when you arrive at our welcome table and screenings. Scroll down to see a full list of health & safety measures that theatres will be implementing as they resume their operations.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE MFM WELCOME TABLE

In addition to the measures taken by our theatres, MFM will be putting these additional protocols in place for our guests to further enjoy their outing:

  • All MFM operators will be wearing face masks
  • Moms will have contact-less sign in for our door prize draws
  • Our welcome table will showcase what’s in your welcome bag, but they will be pre-package for you to take from the table
  • Hand sanitizer will be on the welcome table for a final squirt before entering the theatre
  • Change tables will be equipped with complimentary diapers and sanitizer

CLEANING PROCEDURES

Cinemas including seats, handrails and children’s booster seats are wiped down with industrial-grade cleaning products between each showtime.

Hand sanitizer is readily available in the lobby.

USE OF MASKS

Following Canada’s public health guidelines, we are recommending that our guests wear a mask when they’re with us. In regions where governments have mandated it, they will be required for all guests.

IN CINEMAS

While theatre capacity is no longer reduced, reserved seating may be in effect for your theatre. This will be indicated when you purchase your tickets.

Proof of vaccination may be required in some provinces. This will be indicated at your local theatre when you purchase tickets.

FOOD & DRINK

Concessions are available. Toppings, biodegradable straws, napkins, utensils and condiments are available upon request at Concessions.

Signage will remind guests to ensure physical distancing while lining up and picking up orders.

Food is prepared in accordance with our enhanced staff hand-washing practices and local health regulations.

WASHROOMS

Maintain physical distancing while waiting in line.

Some stalls and urinals are out of service to facilitate physical distancing.

We encourage guests to wash hands for at least 20 seconds with warm water and soap.

SYMPTOM FREE POLICY

Guests who experience symptoms of COVID-19, the flu or a cold should not enter the theatre, and should contact Guest Services for a full refund of their tickets.
